We're seeking a proactive and organized Sales Account Manager to own the customer journey from lead to delivery while working with our engineering, operations and quality teams.

Position Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for managing customer relationships, generating new business with assigned accounts, and leading projects from RFQ through delivery. This role combines technical sales, account management, and project coordination. The Account Manager serves as the primary customer contact for new RFQ’s and production order management.

Key Responsibilities
Account Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers
  • Maintain ongoing customer service communications regarding quotes, schedules and production status
  • Build long-term relationships to drive new and repeat business
  • Maintain customer satisfaction
  • Enter customer Purchase Orders and create job travelers for production
  • Communicate achievable delivery commitments and updates to customer
  • Able to manage multiple customers, projects and priorities
  • Manage order schedule based on customer requirements and capacity with operations including schedule changes and expedites
  • Maintain document control
  • Manage customer program cost, quality and lead times
  • Support new program kickoffs with engineering, operations and quality
 
 
Sales Growth
  • Generate new RFQ’s from incoming leads and existing accounts
  • Identify new opportunities with prospects and customers
  • Support outbound marketing and prospecting as needed
  • Review and qualify incoming opportunities
  • Coordinate quotes with Engineering Quote Team
  • Assist in pricing strategy in collaboration with engineering and operations
  • Prepare and deliver quotes for new and repeat production
  • Follow up on open quotes

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; majoring in Business Administration or Engineering
  • 1-2+ years of experience in technical sales, account management or program management preferably in a manufacturing, engineering, or technical environment
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Passionate Team Player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficient with ERP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools

Preferred Skills & Experience
 
  • Experience with 3D CAD and 2D drawings with ability to understand and communicate part requirements, manufacturing processes, and timelines
  • Experience working with 3D Printing, Additive Manufacturing, Injection Molding and/or Machining
  • Experience working with customers in regulated industries like medical or defense
  • Experience working with customers in regulated industries like medical or defense
  • Marketing experience with websites, shows and social media
