Event Description:
R.O.O.T.S. at Evergreen Grove is a Green Care program located on a 115-acre therapeutic farm in Gardner, MA. R.O.O.T.S. stands for: Resilient, Optimistic, Open-Minded, Thriving, and Serene.
This program will utilize the natural environment, including animals, as a framework for early intervention, outpatient treatment, and recovery support services for individuals, ages 12-24, who are experiencing challenges related to substance use and mental health. The ROOTS program is designed to improve and promote health, well-being, and rehabilitation over a 12-week period.
Open House guests will be encouraged to take a self-guided tour of the farm where staff members will be on hand to answer any questions regarding the farm, it's purpose, and to introduce our four-legged, furry, and feathered therapists.
