The Greater Gardner Chamber of Commerce invites members and regional leaders to attend an upcoming Legislative Affairs Committee Meeting.
The Committee is conducting a regional outreach effort to engage Chamber members, mayors, and town administrators to gather input on state-level policies, costs, and regulatory issues impacting local employers. These discussions help identify shared priorities, strengthen collaboration across communities, educate our membership, and support advocacy for a strong, resilient, and business-friendly regional economy.
Recent discussions with mayors and town administrators from Gardner, Templeton, Winchendon, and Barre highlighted key municipal and regional priorities, including infrastructure and utilities, transportation and federal coordination, development and planning capacity, unfunded mandates, public safety and regional services, and municipal finance and governance.
The Legislative Affairs Committee will hold monthly meetings as we continue outreach to communities across the North Central Massachusetts region.
